Silver Care

Silver has a British hallmark stamp of 925 which means it is 92.5 parts out of one thousand pure.  The other alloy of 7.5% copper.  Even though it is quite a soft metal, it is durable enough for jewellery and ornaments and antique pieces, and has been around for many years.

Ideally if you wear your silver jewellery quite often this usually makes its shine, as opposed to storing it away in a jewellery box, where it will tarnish and discolour, so enjoy wearing your silver items as much as you can!

If you need to clean your silver use either a silver polish with a soft cloth, or alternatively use warm water and washing up liquid, making sure it is rinsed through thoroughly.  The most important thing is to be very gentle when cleaning Silver.
