Sapphire & Diamond Antique Three Stone Ring in 18ct Yellow Gold & Platinum - Secondhand

An antique three stone octagonal cut sapphire and old brilliant cut diamond ring in 18ct yellow gold and platinum.   The sapphire is yellow claw set and the diamonds are white claw set in a coronet setting which leads to the carved shoulders and plain D-shape shank in yellow gold. Circa 1890-1900.

Sapphire @ 5.30 x 5.20 x 4.00mm, weighing 1.09ct

Diamonds 2 @ 5.30 x 5.30 x  3.60mm, weighing 0.70ct each

Assessed as colour I/J and clarity VS

Unstamped.  Tested as 18ct yellow gold and platinum.
