Opal & Diamond Cluster Ring in 18ct White Gold - Secondhand

A nine stone oval cabochon cut Opal and modern brilliant cut diamond cluster ring in 18ct white gold.  The ring comprises the centre opal surrounded by eight diamonds all claw set.  This leads to the tapering shoulders and plain D-shape shank.

Opal @ 10.60 x 9.30mm, weighing 

Diamonds 8 @ 4.10 x 4.10mm each, weighing 0.26ct each

Total diamond weight 2.08ct.  Assessed as colour I/J and clarity SI

Tested as 18ct gold
