Vacheron Constantin Minute Repeater Pocket Watch in 9ct Gold - Secondhand

A fine Vacheron Constantin minute repeater pocket watch in 9ct gold.  The watch has a champagne roman dial with subsidiary seconds dial.  There is a lever on the left side of the case that when pushed up will repeat the current time in hours, quarters and finally minutes.    

The movement is a lever movement and is stamped VACHERON CONSTANTIN,  8 Adjustments,  29 Jewels,  Swiss and the movement number 372245.

The movement number indicates it was made circa 1915-1920 and would have had an 18ct gold case but has subsequently been recased in 9ct gold in 1941 by ATO.

The case size is 45mm diameter.

Vacheron Constantin is the oldest continuously operating watchmaker, with production extending all the way back to 1755. It is considered part of the "Holy Trinity" of Swiss watchmaking, with Audemars Piguet and Patek Philippe. The brand has always maintained its uncompromising pursuit of perfection on the inside and out of every timepiece to be released over the past 265 years.
