An open faced Omega pocket watch. The watch has a white arabic dial with subsidiary seconds dial and outer 24 hour markers. Large very robust base metal cased World War 2 period Omega. Serial number 9929269, dating it to circa 1943.
Most unusual case construction with screw off bezel and hinged section holding the movement. No doubt to prevent, as far as possible, dust and damp.
Fine quality lever escapement movement with Breguet overcoil.
