Onyx and Diamond Cufflinks and Dress Stud Set in 14K Gold by Krementz - Secondhand

A Diamond and onyx cufflinks and dress stud set in 14ct yellow gold and platinum by Krementz.  Comprising the cufflinks, three shirt buttons and two collar studs. The central older style brilliant cut diamond is surrounded by a circular onyx platinum border with engraved and chased leaf decoration.  All have an 14ct yellow gold back.  The cufflinks have chain connectors.

Krementz is a well known and highly respected American jewellery company started in 1866.  It was George Krementz who saw his company’s first great opportunity for growth by producing buttons that gentlemen used to fasten their stiff, detachable collars. It was his collar button design that made Krementz a well-known name in the jewelry industry.  The company became the preeminent collar button producer worldwide.  Krementz were in business for over 100 years finally closing in the early 1990s
