About the Maker:

The origins of Hours Lavigne stretch back to 1852 when a firm was founded by Diette in 1852, who worked with Forin. Sometime after 1866, Diette Fils formed a partnership with the Parisian carriage clockmaker Charles Victor Hour (becoming Diette Fils et Hour).

The trademark of DH was changed to CH around 1900 when Charles Hour took sole ownership. Hour eventually became associated with Maurice Lavigne, forming Hour Lavigne et Cie in 1927.

They were well-known makers of carriage and mantel clocks with an address at 7 Rue Saint-Anastase in Paris.

It measures 250mm x 215mm.

Fully serviced and guaranteed for 1 year.
